Catholic Beliefs: The Lord Really Has Returned

My whole family believes in God. I attended mass with my mom from the time I was a little girl and God bestowed so much grace on us—we were full of gratitude toward Him and we were also longing for the Lord’s return. But I never imagined that when the Lord really did return to work and save us, I wouldn’t recognize His work but would instead rely on my arrogant nature and cling to my old notions, nearly missing out on the Lord’s salvation. Every time I think of this I feel self-reproach but I also rejoice. The Lord Jesus had mercy on me and through my brothers’ and sisters’ patient fellowship on the Lord’s new words I have gained an understanding of His new work, thus becoming able to follow His footsteps. I am grateful for the Lord’s salvation for me that allowed me to catch the very last train for the Age of Kingdom. Now all sorts of scenes of me accepting the Lord are playing in my head….

Sermons and Fellowship: What Is a True Overcomer?

What exactly is an overcomer? What realities of the truth should the overcomer possess? No one understands this clearly. From the perspective of our human notions, if we can work hard for the Lord and hold on to His name, we’ll become overcomers in the end. But this is completely erroneous. Let’s see what God says about being an overcomer. As Revelation 14:4-5 goes, “These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.” And let’s see what Almighty God says, “Those who God refers to as overcomers are those who are still able to stand witness, maintain their confidence, and their devotion to God when under the influence of Satan and under siege by Satan, that is, when within the forces of darkness. If you are still able to maintain a heart of purity and your genuine love for God no matter what, you stand witness in front of God, and this is what God refers to as being an overcomer” (“You Ought to Maintain Your Devotion to God” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). “Those who are made complete before the disaster are obedient to God. They live reliant on Christ, witness Christ, and exalt Him. They are the victorious male children and the good soldiers of Christ” (Utterances and Testimonies of Christ in the Beginning). From God’s word, we can see that the overcomers are those who follow the Lamb’s footsteps closely, who by undergoing God’s judgment, chastisement, trials, and refinement in the last days come to understand the truth and know God, to revere God and shun evil. No matter what Christ says or in what ways He works, they will obey Him completely, and their loyalty to God will be absolute, unparalleled. Faced with the terrible circumstances of the CCP government’s ruthless persecution, they continue to eat and drink of God’s words, performing their duty as a creature of God. Throughout their trials and tribulations, they do not complain, and will obey God unto death, bearing a beautiful, resounding testimony to God. Only these people are the overcomers made through God’s work of the last days. They are the mere 144,000 victorious male children prophesied in Revelation. … do you have any knowledge of God’s work and His disposition? Do you understand how Satan corrupts mankind? Have you seen through Satan’s evil nature and substance? Do you truly detest Satan? Do you understand Satan’s extreme opposition and condemnation of God? Do you have true knowledge of your satanic nature and substance? Have you overcome the flesh and Satan’s influence? Do you truly obey God and revere God and shun evil? How much do you understand about God’s inherent disposition? If God incarnate expresses the truth, will you be able to hear God’s voice and thus obey God’s work? If you don’t have any of these realities of the truth, then how can you be called overcomers? Those who don’t know God have all been exposed by God’s incarnation. The truths that God has spoken have revealed all those who don’t love the truth. People who don’t accept God’s work of the last days do not know God. They are arrogant and self-righteous and belong to Satan’s brood. How could they possibly be called overcomers? It’s impossible for them to be overcomers!

Why Does God Want to Save Mankind?

Relevant Words of God:

In the beginning, God was resting. There were no humans or anything else upon the earth at that time, and God had not done any work whatsoever. God only began His management work once humanity existed and once humanity had been corrupted. From this point on, God no longer rested but instead began to busy Himself among humanity. It was because of humanity’s corruption that God was taken from His rest, and it was also because of the archangel’s rebellion that God was taken from His rest. If God does not defeat Satan and save humanity, which has been corrupted, God will never again be able to enter into rest. As man lacks rest, so does God. When God once again enters into rest, man will also enter into rest. The life in rest is one without war, without filth, without persisting unrighteousness. This is to say that it lacks Satan’s harassment (here “Satan” refers to hostile forces), Satan’s corruption, as well as the invasion of any force opposed to God. Everything follows its own kind and worships the Lord of creation. Heaven and earth are entirely tranquil. This is humanity’s restful life. When God enters into rest, no more unrighteousness will persist upon the earth, and there will be no more invasion of any hostile forces. Humanity will also enter a new realm; they will no longer be a humanity corrupted by Satan, but rather a humanity that has been saved after having been corrupted by Satan. Humanity’s day of rest is also God’s day of rest. God lost His rest due to humanity’s inability to enter into rest; it was not that He was originally unable to rest.

Don’t you want, for your love of God, to save those who have survived, to repay God with all of your effort, who loves man like His own flesh and blood? How do you understand being used by God to live an extraordinary life?
